It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Larry McKay (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), born in Pembroke, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 71, on September 19, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McKay and Ketha McKay (Cotnam); his parents-in-law, Anita and Noel Guimond; and his granddaughter Siobhan McKay.

He is survived by: his wife Lise (Guimond); his children, Jamie of Angus, Ian and Kaitlyn of Kirkland Lake; his grandson Cayden McKay of Angus; his sister Alice McKay of Deep River; his parents-in-law, Mike, Sue Guimond, Luc Guimond and Deborah Hutchison; his nieces, Darian, Baylee and Lanie Guimond of Kirkland Lake; and also Tanis Bukowski of Tecumseh.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the KLDCS Scholarship and Bursary Fund in Larry’s name.
