He is survived by: his children, Frank, Jeannie Prothero of Caledon, Connie, Paul Sawyer of Killaloe and Jess Prothero of Tottenham; his grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, Shawn, Joshua Prothero, Paige, Wyatt Prothero, Yvonne, Sarah and Frank Dacres; and his siblings, Jean Archibald of Bobcaygeon and Don "Joe" Greer of Shelburne.
