She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert and Ella; her sisters, Coleen (Bob Berryhill) and Irene (Neil Cooligan) of Ottawa; and her brother-in-law Patrick Bugyra.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Zane and Anika; her sister Bernadette Thompson of Summerside, P. E. I; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard, Mary Bugyra of Toronto, Gerry, Irene Bugyra of Sault Ste, Marie and Detta O'Farrell. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and extended family.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, all services will be private and by invitation only and subject to capacity limits.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation in Doreen's name.
