He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Elsie (Wilson); his brothers, Maynard and Brian; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Diehl, Winston Caldwell and Heather Caldwell (Crawford).

He is survived by: his spouse Judy (Caldwell); his children, Richard Clost (Anna-Marie) and Karyn Clost (Mark); his grandchildren, Leah, Rory Clarke, Jordan, Camryn and Shaun Clost; and his siblings, Bruce and June (Diehl).
