He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephrem Laderoute and Rose Laderoute; his wife Rita; and his siblings, Fred Laderoute (Irene) of Webbwood and Albert Laderoute (Edna) of Lively.

He is survived by: his children, Vaughn, Peter of Toronto, Lyle of Agnew Lake, Lisa Podlatis of Espanola, David (Kelly) of Espanola, Chris (Amanda) of Espanola, Hailey, Whitney, Braden, Meegan, Ty and Launa; and his siblings, Eleanor Foster of Ottawa, Ivy Rantanen of Sudbury and Joe Laderoute (Doreen) of Sudbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
