He was predeceased by: his brother Donald; and his parents, George Dear and Rose Dear. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dear; his children, Kim, Janice, Allan and Tanya; his grandchildren, Gerald, Lisa, Jessie, Brandon, Natalie, Nicolas, Sarah, Ashley, Michelle and Randy; and his siblings, Shirley, Joyce, Sonny, Sharon, Gary, Wayne and Diane.
