He was predeceased by : his wife Marlene Dixon. He is survived by : his children, Janet Smith of Belleville and Paul Dixon (Sherry); his grandchildren, Stephen Smith of Belleville, Corey Smith (Ashley) of Belleville, Alicia Smith of Belleville and Jeremy Dixon of St John's, NL; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Bentley and Chase; and his stepdaughters, Debbie, Valerie, Suzanne, Chris and Diane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Quinte Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Bill.
