She is survived by: her fiancé Angelo Bruni; her parents, David Cowie and Joy Cowie of Oshawa; her brothers, Timothy Cowie (Gwen) of Davidson, NC and John Cowie (Tina) of Whitby; her nieces and nephews, Emmily, Timmy, Ryan, Malachi (Laura) and Jonah Cowie (Kay); her sister Tara Mateus-Brown; and her friends, Shirley Northwood and Carol Kirby.
