He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Maheux and Jeannine Maheux; his daughter Jennifer; and his brother Guy Maheux. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Maheux; his daughter Christine Bergeron (Jamie); his grandchildren, Spencer and Jenni; and his siblings, Jeannot Maheux (Ginette), Louise Cousineau (Dan) and Andre Maheux (Diane). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
