He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Laponsee and Janet Laponsee; and his siblings, Mavis Baker (late Roy), Ann Fortier (late Dick), Connie Barnhart (Bill), John Laponsee (Lynn), George Laponsee (Shirley) and Arthur Laponsee.
He is survived by: his friend Gail Laponsee; his child Shelley Laponsee (Keith Robertson); and his siblings, Sybil Lalonde, Frances Pitre (Frank), Dan Laponsee (Sue) and Janet Delaney (late Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
