She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bud Joseph Maika; her children, Gloria Bond (Mickey), Yvonne Kosnaskie (Murray), Connie Yaraskavitch (Michael), Wenda Recoskie (Byron), Wanda Brown (Barry) and Neil Maika (Kim); her grandchildren, Blaine, Ashley, Michelle, Danielle, Kyle, April, Bryan, Krista, Paul, Brad, Tanya, David and Kate; her siblings, Wilbert (Joan), Wayne (Linda), David (Monique), Kathy Boston (Bill), Billy (Elaine) and Sharon Taylor (Eric); her parents, Delma and Frederick; and her son Bud. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.
