He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Griffin and Laurie Griffin; and his nephew Derek Pilon. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Matthew and Melissa; his grandchildren, Michaela Lloyd, Elijah and Olivia Goodison; and his sisters, Gwen Griffin, Cheryll McConnell (Guy) and Lauretta Wright (Steve).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital or Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Barrie.
