She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Scott Jeffrey Cantwell; her parents, Cecil Lovering and Ethel Lovering; her daughters, Sheridan Ann Cantwell and Merritt Lynn Robinson; and her grandchildren, Sophie Angeline Cantwell, Madison Nicole Robinson and Trenton Scott Robinson.

Dorothy lost her battle with COVID just 2 short weeks after she lost her youngest – son Scott Jeffrey Cantwell.
