We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, Mary Ann Dykema of Chatham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Verkaik and Gertrude Verkaik; her husband Wayne Dykema; her grandchild Toby; her brothers, Harry Verkaik (Theresa), Mike Verkaik (Sandra), Henry Verkaik (Tena) and Gary Verkaik; and her brother-in-law Hank Dykema (Frances).

She is survived by: her children, Grace Pottier (Rick), Wayne Dykema (Joyce) and Gerald Dykema (Shannon); her grandchildren, Matthew, Robert (Bobbie-Jo), Christopher (Victoria), Daniel, Justin, Mackenzie (Colten), Jacklyn, Katelyn (Justin), Sara (Matt), Melissa (Tom), Lucas, Aria, Alexis, Bentley, Axel, Olivia, Oakley and Scarlett; her siblings, John Verkaik (Barbara) and Pauline Glassford (late George); and her siblings-in-law, George Dykema (Jenny), Nick Dykema (Maryanne) and Gerda Heyink (late Gary).

Donations made in memory of Mary Ann to V.O.N. Chatham-Kent or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
