He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his son Billy MacDonald; his parents, James and Vera; and his siblings, Bernie, Cletus, Locke, Mary MacDonald, Dorothy MacDonald, Hooray MacDonald and For Tom MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Inget (Billy), Jim MacDonald (Cindy), Sharron Struk (David) and Daniel MacDonald; his grandchildren, Jill Inget (Joel), Brian Inget (Amanda), Matthew Struk (Jeremy), Marcey Stefanski (Pawel), Melissa Gerrard (Dave), Lara MacDonald, Cole MacDonald and Mike Struk (Shannon); and his great grandchildren, Ben, Isla, Max, Everly, Heidi, Magnus and Ainsley.
