He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Ruth (Dolly) and Ernest Ruth (Ernie); and his siblings, Lawrence Ruth and Angela McDowell. He is survived by: the mother of his children Connie Ruth-Chamberlain; his sisters, Therese Ruth, Trish Ruth (Terry) and Shelley Hunt; and also, Jamie Ruth (Stephanie), Trina Elrick (Jason), Evan, Isabella, Mataya, Sydney and Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
