He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Dacosta and Maria Conceicao Festa. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie; his grandchildren, Gabriella and Damis; his sisters, Helena Roias (Carlos), Irene and Lourdes; and his nieces, Susete Roias, Margarida Roias and Dina Roias.
