He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eva Harkness and Bob Harkness; his wife Audrey; his children, Jeff (Jana), Jill, David (Cathy) and Gordon (Louise); his grandchildren, Cale, Tracy, Melody, Matthew, Nathan and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Wren and Ellie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barclay Funeral Home (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V 1R2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9).

In memory of Dave, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Program or The Salvation Army in Brockville will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
