She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Lawson and Jean Doris (Millman). She is survived by: her spouse Robert "Mike" LaFortune; her children, Gordon LaFortune (Laura) of Gravenhurst, Lori Der-Hacopian of Ashburn, Virginia LaFortune and Shari LaFortune of Brighton; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Michelle, Nick and Tim.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Brighton Public Library, or the Brighton Band Stand, would be appreciated by the family.
