He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Fitchett and Ethel (Deviney); and his brothers, Leonard and Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann (Pearson); his children, Lorrie Dunk (Mark) of Brighton, Heather Scriver (Adam Sr.) of Brighton, Tracy Taylor (Kevin Jr.) of Brighton and Tammy Knox (Scott) of Colborne; his brother Bruce Fitchett (Pauline Cowie) of Hiawatha; and his grandchildren, Adam Scriver Jr. of Kingston, Amanda L. Scriver of Wooler, Hilary Ryckman of Belleville, Luke Dunk (Melissa) of Brighton, Jessica Dunk of Brighton, Brianna of Colborne, Cameron of Colborne and Sierra Knox of Colborne. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Vernonville United Church Heritage Fund, or the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
