He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry MacKenzie and Isabelle (Flewelling). He is survived by: his spouse Linda (Ogden); his children, Mark MacKenzie (Christina) of Toronto and Lisa Candiano (Carlo) of Port Hope; his grandchildren, Michael Candiano (Leanne), Matthew Candiano, Nicholas Candiano (Alicia), Samuel Candiano, Katherine MacKenzie and Frances MacKenzie; and his great grandchild Enzo Candiano.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Brighton Legion "Raise the Roof", would be appreciated by the family.
