She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard "Gerry" Eek; her siblings, Bert Kearns (late May), Ruth Codlin (late Carl), Bill Kearns (late Grace) and Helen Willis (late Jim); and her brother-in-law John Eek (Jill).

She is survived by: her children, Bill Eek (Avia), Marlene Stelnick (Alan) and Brenda Jardine (late Jim); her grandchildren, Amanda (Matt), Jeremy (Emily), Sam (Cristiana), Steven (Angelica) and Nicole (Alex); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Addison and Niah; her siblings, Doris Hill (late Gord), Mickey Kearns (Gladys), Earl Kearns (Gail) and Joe Kearns (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Marie Devald (late Louie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
