She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Mercer (Danny Wells), Peter Mercer, Trudy Freake (Malcolm), Faye Demaine (Derek), Velda Hynes (Garry), Angela Odd (Nevin) and Mike Mercer; her grandchildren, Travis, Nicholas, Abbey, Dylan, Michael, Crystal, Austin, Michael Jr. and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Maddox and Kendra. She is also survived by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Horwood, Newfoundland.
