John Deraaf Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Deraaf (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Amanda Harsham-DeRaaf; his children, Kimberlee Vanderveer (John) and Pamela Salhani (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jordan Foote (Tasha), Janelle Foote, DeRaaf-Gouin (Kristy), William DeRaaf-Gouin, Brenna Vanderveer and Holly Vanderveer; his parents, Jan DeRaaf and Aafje DeRaaf; and his siblings, Clarence DeRaaf, Lawrence DeRaaf (Boukje), Ann Podzus (Wally), Arie DeRaaf (Penny), Neil DeRaaf (Carol) and Susan Vanderveer (Joe). He was also cherished by his great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
