He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude "Trudy"; his stepson Bob Storey; and his sisters, Meta Bruce, Ruby Fox, Dorothy Wagg (Tom), Beulah White (Calvin) and Vivian White (Murnie).
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Vanderkooi (Rick); and his grandchild Sydney Vanderkooi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
