He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hancock and Dorothy Hancock; his siblings, Eleanor Perrin and Gary Hancock; and his brother-in-law Jack Perrin.

He is survived by: his former wife Sue Hancock; his sister-in-law Marilyn Hancock; and also, Kit Hancock (Lori-Ann), Jay Hancock (Kelly) and Dawn Downie (Scott).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
