He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Barrette and Alva Barrette (Pilon); his parents-in-law, Carmen and Iva Wood (Scriver); and his siblings, Ivan, Ron Barrette and Danielle Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Wood); his daughters, Denise Wallace (Kevin) and Lisa Barrette (Jay); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Jake), Alexander, Logan, Josh (Whitney), Danica (Chris), Aidan and Emily (Ryan); and his brother Michael Barrette (Annie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
