He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Stewart and Alice Stewart; and his wife Adele. He is survived by: his sister Shirley Christle of Nanaimo, B. C; his son Bill (Sharon) of Ottawa; his granddaughters, Amy Hatch (Shawn) and Josie Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Kyle, Owen and Ayla.
