He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakop Boersma and Anna Boersma; and his siblings, Al Boersma (late Joan) and Jelle Boersma (late Renata). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Boersma; his sons, George Boersma and Dan Boersma; and his sisters, Elsie Postma and Tina Jacques.
