We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023, at the age of 97, Pearl MacInnis-Akister (Beaverton, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pearl MacInnis-Akister to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Gerald Akister and Lorne MacInnis; and her siblings, Frank, Alvin, Morley, Margaret, Mildred and Clayton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine (late Harold Lodwick) and Valerie (Richard Parliament); her grandchildren, Wendy (Greg), Rob (Alison), Becky (Steve), Amy (Jay), Ian (Emily) and Emily (Mike); and her siblings, Jean Fisher and John Gregg. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Harold Lodwick Citizenship Award or The Ross Memorial Palliative Care unit would be greatly appreciated.
