He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Avery and Elsie Avery of Beaverton. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Carleton); his children, Shannon, Brian (Inglis), Kaylee and Larry Jr.; his grandchildren, Caden and Caleb; and his siblings, Lorraine Cormack (Dave) and Paul Avery (Lianne). He is also survived by his family, his pets, and many friends.

Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Diabetic Association would be appreciated by the family in Larry's honour.
