With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Manley Light in Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on August 6, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Frances (Howard McFadden); his parents, Amie Lalumiere and Albertine "Bertha"; and his siblings, Marie (Joseph Desroches), Betty (Donald Fitzgerald), Eva (Lionel Lortie), Estella (Kenneth McInnis), Peter (Muriel), Henry (June), Herman (Rita) and Ted (Marie).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Sharon Preen (Mike), Daniel (Risa) and Michael (Donna); his grandchildren, Paul Lalumiere, Penny Light, Jeffrey Preen, Jennifer Hurley, Katherine Lochart Laura and Alex McFadden (Laura); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Grace Preen, Olivia Hurley, Nolan, Spencer Musal, William Garden, Leila, Logan and Lincoln McFadden; and his siblings, Gerry (Donna) and Patricia (Tom McNamara).
