He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Donna Lobinowich (Horton); his children, Lori (Andrew), Michael (Nadine) and Mark (Sandra); his grandchildren, Noah, Corbin, Landon, Jakob, Milana (late Hanna) and Nathan; his sisters, Stella Hardie and Jenny Bergman (late Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Horton (Joan) and Robyn Horton (Anita). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bancroft Pentecostal Church (311 Hastings St N, Bancroft, ON K0L1C0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery (3900 Farr Ave, Ridgeway, ON L0S1N0).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideons (Shareword), Bancroft Hospital or Hope City Church in Brampton would be appreciated by the family.
