He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne Kidnie; his children, David (Tammy), Paul (Bonnie), Brenda (Bob), Dana (Rick) and Derek (Debra); his grandchildren, Kyle Kidnie, Kendra Kidnie, Bryan Kidnie (Amanda), Blaine Kidnie (Michelle), Kierra Kidnie (Dan), Dustin Janssen, Jason Janssen (Kristina), Jesse Janssen (Lena), Tori Jamieson, Tara Jamieson, David Jamieson, Dana Alexandra Jamieson, Owen Kidnie and Delanie Kidnie; his great grandchildren, Emelia and Cole Kidnie; his siblings-in-law, Donna Kidnie, Marjory Cunningham, Donna Darby (Neil), Ron Schieck and Floyd Schieck (Donna); his brothers, Wilfred, Hugh, Jack and Kenneth Kidnie; his siblings-in-law, Lorene McDonald, Marjorie Schieck, Marjory Kidnie, Bertha Kidnie, Joseph McDonald and Frank Cunningham; and his parents, George S. Kidnie and Ruthena May Reid. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in Norm's memory may be made to Arthur United Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Groves Memorial Hospital which may be arranged through the Crawford Funeral Chapel.
