She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Samuel Ferguson and Agnes Viola Deslauriers; and her brothers, Waldron, Ronald and Gerald Ferguson.

She is survived by: her husband William "Danner" Palmer; and her children, Paul Scott (Connie), Corrine Rizzuto, Deborah Mahon (Ron), Jacqueline Seal and Kelly Palmer. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and their partners, six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, her in-laws and extended family and friends.
