He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Susan Gillis (Joseph), Alison Mercer, Lisa Dearman and Peter (Anne Lin); his grandchildren, Matthew Mercer, Brian Gillis, Michael Gillis, Devon Webb, Owen Wilbert Dearman and Eryn Webb; his sister-in-law Barbara; and his nieces and nephews, Starlene Archibald (Brian), Shauna Dearman and Francis "Frank" Dearman (Sheila).
