It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Barkhouse (Wolfville, Nova Scotia), born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 19, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Stephen Rhodenizer; her stepparent Lawson Croft; her husband Wilbert Alexander Barkhouse; her son Randall; and her siblings, Grace and Harold Rhodenizer.

She is survived by: her parent Alice (Carver); her children, Bernie of Delhaven and Sheri Stevens (Lawrence) of New Minas; her siblings, Marjorie, Paulette and Ronald; her stepgranddaughter Kristen; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Ziyaida.
