She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alton and Annie Ethel Sherman (Cain); her husbands, Herbert Smart and Charles Sweet; and her siblings, Lena, Edward, James, Frederick, Rudolph, Howard, Leon and Randolph.
She is survived by: her children, Patrica Colosimo (Smart), Susan Levy (Smart), Brad and Todd. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
