He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cavanagh and Martha Cavanagh (Brown); his wife Ethel Josephine (Rogers); and his siblings, Hilda Leighton, Cyril, Edward, Victor, Clarence and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Limited, Beverley Ann Cavanagh-Pick (Greg) and Lorne Jr. "Dutchie"; his grandchildren, Halee (Mike) and Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, DeKarie and Akilah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
