He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret "Peggy" M. (Middleton) and Earle LeRoy Reid Sr.; his brothers, Earle (Janet) of Halifax, William "Bill" (Gloria) of Digby and George of Kentville; and his brother-in-law Keith of Kingsport.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Taylor); his daughter Marian (Ian Reid) of North Alton; his grandson John Reid (Deanna Bent) of Kentville; his brother Ivan Reid (Janet) of Greenwood; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl-Ann Reid of Kentville, Laura Taylor of Cow Bay and Lawrence Taylor (Joan) of Dartmouth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
