It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold James Benedict of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Benedict and Emily Benedict (Wile); his wife Greta (Schofield); his daughter-in-law Deborah Bendict; and his siblings, Don, Austin, Paul, Robert, Pauline, Gertie and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Norman (Charles), Lewis Benedict, Janet Mason (Billtown) and Mona Morine (Glenmont); and his sister Isabel Burgess. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Port Williams Recreation Splash Pad Fund (donations in cash or cheque only directly to the Village of Port Williams).
