He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Davidson and Vera Davidson (Coldwell); his siblings, Lormer, Lawrence, Gordon, Murray, Maynard, Harlen, Vernon "Doug", Malcom, Blanche MacPhee and Christine Smith; and his grandson Tyler Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Melvina Davidson (Butler); his children, Angus Bruce of Gaspereau, Shawn Arthur of Gaspereau, Robert Edward of Wolfville, Cindy Thorpe (Andrew) of Kentville, Tina Gallant (Ray) of Sackville and Cathy Spencer (Justin) of New Minas; and his grandchildren, Nicole Davidson of Edmonton, Patricia, Dylan of Kelly, BJ, Robbie, Alyssa, Liam, Jessica, Brittany, Rocky, Joy, Doug and Justin. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
