With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Allan Gatchell (Truro, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Ross Gatchell and Annie Gatchell (MacEachern); his brother Karl; and his sister-in-law Mary Gatchell (Mundle). He is survived by: his wife Greta (Hubley); his children, Gregory Gatchell (Anne), Krista Baker (Terry), Nancie Gatchell-Dennis (Paul) and Sara Jane Gatchell Strathroy (Jake Higgs); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Ryker, Bryson Hillier, Noah and Theo Norris.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Church, the Truro Junior Curling Program, or the Truro TAAC Revitalization Project.
