Sherman Reid Carter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Reid Carter of Truro, Nova Scotia, born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Carter (Clayton) and Florence Carter (Peck); his siblings, Helen (Bubs), Joan and Art; his son Sherman; and his stepdaughter Maureen.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" Carter; his daughters, Cindy Conrad (Wayne Banks) and Barbara Carter (Michael Colborne); his grandchildren, Christie and Kathryn; his great grandchildren, Carter, Micah and Chase; his stepsons, Andrew and Stephen; his stepgrandchildren, Andy, Abbygail and Emily; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Baily and Blake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
