She was predeceased by: her grandfather Arthur Smith; her great-grandparents, Ruth Smith, Victor Kinsman, Guida and William Joseph Tough; her uncle Garfield White; and her great-aunt Mary.
She is survived by: her parents, Kevin Smith (Anik Lapointe) and Dianne Tough (William Hoskins); her brother Cameron Smith (Camille Morin); her stepsiblings, William Hoskins (Carina Legnaro) and Laura Hoskins; her grandparents, Shirley Smith, Michael, Irene Tough and Burlington; her aunts, Heather Smith (Darren Anderson), Angela Tough-Kenneally (Dana), Burlington and Pheobe White; her uncle Michael Tough (Colleen); and her pets, Xena and Luda. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors Canada or your local SPCA in Katherine's memory as these were organizations near and dear to her heart.
