He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Perry and Margery Perry (Elliott); and his siblings, Malcolm, Wilfred, Annie Ida, Linda Joyce, Marie and Violet.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anna (Baird); his children, Cindy, Jim (Georgette), Janice (James), John (Fania) and Steve (Lisa); his sister Barb Gorman; his sister-in-law Isabel Perry; and his brother Bob Young. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in Elson's memory to Bible Hill Fire Brigade are welcomed.
