He was predeceased by: his parent Guy Hendsbee. He is survived by: his parent Audrey Hendsbee (Greencorn); his wife Bonnie Hendsbee (Turner); his siblings, Brenda Perry (Mark), Nancy White (David), Susan Jesso (Aaron) and Michael Hendsbee; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Perry, Monica White, Nicholas Jesso, Garth MacIntosh, Stephen Durling, Cherra Gillis, Scott Pineo and Rachael Jude (Pineo).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
