Eileen Bridget Cook Swift Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Bridget Cook Swift (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fewer and Eliza Fewer (Murray); her husband John Cook; and her siblings, Margaret Garland, William Fewer, Winnifred Chiasson and Donald Fewer.

She is survived by: her daughter Margie Alteen (Michael) of Sydney Forks; her grandson Douglas Alteen (Carole Landry) of New York City; her great grandchildren, Louis Alteen of Toronto and Julia Alteen of Paris, France; her brother Murray; and her sister-in-law Leona (late Donald). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Covid protocols will be observed in church and at the cemetery and for those unable to attend, Live Streaming will be available on the Holy Redeemer Facebook Page.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Palliative Care would be appreciated.
