Ruth Eleanor Covey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Eleanor Covey of Seabright, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Boutilier and Jennie Boutilier (MacLachlan); her siblings, Mildred, Virginia, Warren and Joyce (Burchell); her husband Jimmie Covey (James Arthur); and her son-in-law Bruce Burrows.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Burrows and Louise Hawkins (John); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher Burrows (Kara), Liam (Lauren Wu), Grant (Deirdre Campbell) and Ellen Hawkins (Justin Di Girolamo); and her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Layton Burrows, Darian Seward and Alissa Burrows.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to William Black United Church, Glen Margaret, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
