He was predeceased by: his parent Layton Thompson; and his siblings, Laurie, Mary Carter (Basil), Dorothy Stevens (Harvey), Ruth MacPherson (Robert) and Walter Wheeler (Shirley).
He is survived by: his parent Janie Thompson; and his sister-in-law Jennie Thompson of Elmsdale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
